MTNA Performance Competition is a very prestigious and high level competition. Students participating in this competition are
exceptionally talented and most of them work for a year or more to prepare their repertoire.
Students enter first at the State level (NCMTA State Conference, usually in October), then Divisional level (MTNA Southern Division meeting in January), and finally at National level (MTNA National Conference, usually in March).
Junior Division is for ages 11-14, Senior Division is for ages 15-18.
