MTNA Performance Competition is a very prestigious and high level competition.  Students participating in this competition are exceptionally talented and most of them work for a year or more to prepare their repertoire.  Registration deadline is early September.

Students enter first at the State level live competition (NCMTA State Conference, usually in October), State winners advance to Divisional level competition (held online), and Divisional winners advance to National level live competition (MTNA National Conference, usually in March).

Junior Division is for ages 11-14, Senior Division is for ages 15-18.
